The Porsche 919 Hybrid is a Le Mans Prototype 1 (LMP1) 

sports car built and used by the German manufacturer Porsche 

in the 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 seasons of the FIA World 

Endurance Championship. It was Porsche's first all-new prototype 

since the RS Spyder and the first to compete in the premier 

level of sports car racing since the Porsche 911 GT1.

The BMW M6 is a high-performance model of the 6 Series, 

marketed under the BMW M sub-brand between 1983-2018. Debuted in the form of a coupe, 


the M6 ​​was built in 

the form of a convertible body and Fastback ('Gran Coupe'.

Around the start of 2015, BMW Motorsport began developing
a replacement for the successful BMW Z4 GT3 which already had been
in action since 2010, where they selected the M6 as the base model.
